Pool and snooker rules

Each game has its own page with the rules exactly as the tables play them, fouls and ball in hand included. Read them once and you will always know why the game called a foul.

  1. 8-ball

    Solids against stripes: clear your seven balls, then pot the 8.

  2. 9-ball

    Always hit the lowest ball first. Whoever pots the 9 wins the rack.

  3. 15-ball

    Rotation with all fifteen balls: each ball scores its number and 61 points win.

  4. Snooker

    Fifteen reds and six colours on a full-size table. Pot a red, then a colour, and score more than your opponent.
