Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. CueMasters uses the ones it needs to work and to remember your own choices. Marketing cookies are set only if you allow them. This page lists them all and explains how to change your choice.
Your consent
Cookies the site needs to work, and cookies that remember a choice you made, need no consent. Everything else is used only if you allow it. On your first visit you see a cookie banner: "Necessary only" keeps the rest off, "Accept all" turns them on, and "Customise" lets you choose each category.
We keep your choice for 180 days and then ask again. You can change it or withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Necessary cookies
The session cookie keeps you signed in and ends when the session expires. The XSRF-TOKEN cookie protects forms against requests from other sites. A remember-me cookie is set only if you tick "Remember me" when signing in. The cookie_consent cookie remembers your cookie choice for 180 days.
Preference cookies
The locale cookie remembers your language and the sidebar_state cookie whether the account menu is open. They last up to a year. They only remember choices you made yourself, so they count as necessary and are always on.
Visit statistics
We count page views and events such as "started a match" with a tool that runs on our own server. It sets no cookies, stores nothing that identifies you and does not follow you to other sites, so no consent is needed.
If we ever add an analytics tool that uses cookies, it will run only if you allow "Analytics" cookies.
Marketing cookies
To see whether our ads work, we may load an advertising partner's pixel. It loads only after you accept "Marketing" cookies in the cookie banner. The partner then sets its own cookies and receives information about your visit, such as the pages you open, under its own privacy policy.
If you do not accept marketing cookies, the pixel never loads.
Browser storage
The game keeps a few things in your browser's local storage: your game settings, the device token of your guest account (so the same guest returns), your replays and your cookie choice. None of it is used for tracking, and none of it leaves your browser except the device token, which the game sends to recognise your guest.
Other services
A bot check on some forms may set a cookie of its own to tell people from bots. When you pay, the payment provider sets its own cookies on its own pages, under its own policy.
Your control
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you delete the cookie_consent cookie, the cookie banner appears again. Without the necessary cookies you cannot stay signed in, and without local storage the game starts as a new guest each time.
